DEADLY REVERSE DRUG STING WITH TOUCH OF 'MIAMI VICE'
The band of middle aged robbers had plan to pose as cops to steal a drug shipment but what they didn't know is that actual police officers were watching all along. Thier score was 60 kilo's of cocaine. They planned to kill but the drop was a decoy. The reverse sting truned deadly.Twoof the alleged robbers died in a West Miami-Dade ware house parking lot. Two others including the alleged mastermind, suffered gun shot wounds. the mastermind grand 46, and his brother Carlos 44 were convicted by jury for a slew of federal robbery, drug and firearm sharges.They will sentence on August. The case was investigated by Miami Dade Police and Florida Department of Law Enforsement. Born in cuba Granda had been a plumber. Really Police say, he was a carreer robber. Granda and another man kidnapped a Corol Gables attorney named Pedro Echarte. Echarte talked Grand into stopping at a bank to withdraw money and Coral Gables cops soon arrested them. Granda served five years in state prison Pedro Echarte Jr. is now a Miami Dade judge.
