PURPOSE

To inform- to give information about the reader to agree with the auther's point view on subject. Authors with this purpose my give facts, but their main goal is to argue or prove a point to readers.
For ex. the author of an informative paragraph about sandwishes might begin eating food between two slices of sa sandwich is a practice that has its orgigins i eighteenth century england.


To persuade- to convince the reader to agree with the author to agree with authors point of view on a subject. Authors with purpose may give facts but thier main goal is to argue or prove a point to readers.

To entertain- to asume and delight:to appeal to the reader's sence and imagination. Authors with this purpose enterain in variuos ways, through fiction and notification.
