List five reasons why students fail.
There are more than five reasons why students fail. Here I'm going to discuss only five reasons. These reason are family, self esteem, peer pressure, economic reasons and P which stand for procrastination.
Most people think family would not be on the top five list but guess again. Most family members want you to go to school but they don't want to help you at all. For example, you have student who has kids but trying to better then self by going to school. you would think that her family would help by looking her while she's going to school but they don't.
Another reasons why student fail is self esteem. If you don't believe in yourself
know one else will you have to be confident you have to motivate yourself by saying I know I can do it. I know I can successed. You should never think negative. I can't, it's impossible, that kind of attitude won't get you far.
The third reason why students fail is from peer pressure. you have a hand full of friends that you hang around. If you have five friends out of that five maybe one would like for you to do good. the others four would rather see you doing bad. Instead of helping you study they invited you to club or trying to have you hang out with them when you should be studying. Some friend have you feeling gulity you have no choice but to go for a few hours

MANAGERS USING DENIAL WILL INSIST THAT THERE ARE NO PROBLEMS.

Since most words have several possible meaning, it requires context to determine a word's specific meaning in a particular situation. Learning the meaning of a word through context is the most practical way to build vocabulary, since a dictionary is often unavailable when a reader encounters an unfamiliar word. There are several different types of context clues. These include: 1. punctuation clues- the new word might have its meaning pointed out by punctuation marks: commas, dashes, parentheses, or brackets.
2. definition clues- words may be directly defined. Look for terms like "means," "involves," " is called," "that is," "which means," "is defined as," "refers to," and "resembles", as well as sentences using the linking verbs "is," "are," "was," or "were."
3. example clues- an example or examples might be found near the new term that will aid in defining it. Look for terms like "such as," "for example," "for instance," and "including" to point out examples.
4. contrast clues- contrast clues make use of antonyms to show differences between persons, things, and ideas. Contrasting ideas may use terms like "but," "yet," "however," "although," "on the other hand," "instead of," "while," "rather than," and " on the contrary."
5. synonym clues- A more familiar word with the same meaning might be used by an author further along in the text.
6. experience clues- sometimes the experience of the reader can be helpful in determining the meaning of an unfamiliar word.
7. inference clues- sometimes the reader may use logic, together with the general sense of the sentence or paragraph, to think of a meaning for an unknown word.
Author's purpose- an author's purpose is his reason or ontent in writing. Three common purposes are to inform( to give factual information about a topic), to persuade ( to convince you to agree with the author's opinions), and to entertain ( to amuse you or to give you enjoyment).
Purposes for writing: to describe something, to analyze something, to state a problem, to tell a story, to define something, to state a problem, to compare, to classify, to evaluate, or to criticize. An author's purpose is suggested by the way he writes about a topic. For instance, if his purpose is to amuse, he will use jokes or ancedotes in his writing.
Author's overall organizatonal pattern- authors try to present their ideas in some clearly organized way. They do this by arranging the supporting details in some common pattern.
Fact and opinion- A fact is a statement that can be vaildated or proven to be true or false by using measurements, historical or scientific documents, or even personal observation. By this definition, a fact is not always accurate or correct.
An opinion is a statement that expresses an author's beliefs, judgements, and values. It expressess a point of view and cannot be proven.
Tone- an author's tone is the attitude or feeling he creates in writing about his subject; the reader can recognize a mood or feeling from a speaker's tone of voice.
Explicit/Implicit relationships within sentences- if the relationship within the sentence is explicit (stated), transition words and phrases will be used. If the raltionship within the sentence is implicit (unstated), the reade must infer the relationship.
Valid arguments- An argument involves reasons or evidence to support a conclusion or statement. A valid argument is a statement that fits into a logical pattern of reasoning and/or which makes use of relevant, verifiable proof to support a particular conclusion.
Inferences and Conclusions- is what a reader thinks the writer is suggesting through the words or ideas presented. Making inferences and conclusions enables a reader to fill in information that are not directly stated by the author. Making inferences is related to other reading skills. For instance, it is necessary to infer the main idea of a paragraph when there is no main idea stated
To answer a main idea question, follow these steps:
1. Ask' "What or Who is the paragraph or passage about?"
2. Ask' "What idea about the who or what is the autor concerned with?"
3. Find an answer option that best matches your answer to the question above.

BEYONCE AND THE G-UNIT CLICK
Once upon a time the lived a diva by the name Beyonce. She lived in a mansion with wicked stepmother named Rihanna. Rihanna was the queen of ghetto. She hated Beyonce. She was afraid that Beyonce would look better then her on day. Everyday Rihanna asked her mirror, mirror mirror on the wall who’s the finest of us all. Rihanna’s mirror would reply you are. She would always smile like it was really true. Then one day Rihanna asked her mirror and it replied beyonce is the finest. Rihanna was hot. She told Mr. DJ to take Beyonce to the hood and merk her. So Mr. DJ took beyonce and he could not merk her. He told Beyonce how bad Rihanna was hatten on her and that she had ask him to kill her. He told Beyonce to run far away. Beyonce ran in the dark she was scared with stilettos heels on and she tripped and fell. My neck my back and she fell asleep. The next morning when she woke up she saw chicken, pigeons and raccoons. She was really happy because she was not alone anymore. Beyonce needed a crib to live in. A place to lay her head at night. The friendly animals took her to the projects. When Beyonce got there she pushed the door opened and it was a hot mess. There were dishes piled up. The floor looked like it was not swiped in days. There was g-unit outfits all over the place. The place was stank and the gits must be dirty Beyonce thought to herself. Lets clean this mess up she said to the friendly animals, maybe them gits will let me chill in the crib for a minute. She swiped singing dangerously in love. The chicken washed the clothing. The pigeon and the raccoon dust the crib. She went up stair to be nosey wanting to see the rest of the crib. There was know light so she lit her lighter so that she could see. There were seven futon beds. Each bed had a name on it. Young buck, Toni Yayo, game Beyonce started laughing these some ghetto names. Portage, Lloyd Banks, Maze and 50 cent. Beyonce was getting sleepy so she layed on the beds. Hours later the owners of the crib came back. They were not gits they were the G-Unit click. When they opened the door they could not believe that the crib was cleaned. They rushed up stair following 50 cent. When they pulled the sheets and saw Beyonce laying there. They were amazed. Baby got back said Lloyd banks. Young Buck was like yo I bet she got a name and portage was like what her man got to do with us. What he doesn’t know won’t hurt him. Beyonce woke up and saw the G-Unit click in front of her. Let me guess who is who and she got their names right. Beyonce told them about her running away from home and how they tried to merk her and how she couldn’t go back. That won’t happen said Maze we got your back. When dinner came around beyonce had cooked up some soul food. She was telling the click about this fella she had met by the name Jay- z. They were having a good time laughing singing I take you to the candy shop. When it was time for bed Lloyd was listing to his music. Toni Yayo was sing so seductive. The game was cleaning his shoe. Maze was reading his bible. Young buck was counting his money. Portage was fast asleep and brave old 50 cent was staring at his gun shot wounds. Then next morning the click had to go to the studio to record some tracks. 50 told beyonce not to let anybody in the crib. Beyonce was like okay. That after noon Beyonce forgot what 50 had told here an old grandma was at the door so beyonce let her in. She said that she always bake cake for the boys. She gave beyonce a red velvet cake that had roach spray on it. Beyonce messed that cake up. Beyonce started filling dizzy. She stared singing got me filling so dizzy right now and before you know it the old witch gone and beyonce was knocked out could on the floor. When the G-Unit click came back they found beyonce on the floor. She dead she dead said maze. I told her not to open the door said 50. The click builds her a golden casket and placed her in there. Later on the night they saw jigga know as Jay-z by beyonce. He was like what they do.The G-Unit was like chillin, chillin. Jigga was like I’m looking for my bonnie I haven’t seen shorty in a minute. He described her to the click and they took him right to her. Jigga saw Beyonce and gave her a kiss. The kiss woke her up; she was like jay-z you saved me. They all started dancing and singing know body wants us to be together. When it was time to go Jay-z was like you ready bee and he started sing all I need in this life of sin is me and my girlfriend.

MY LIFE STORY
MY LIFE STORY
The elementary school I attended was Toussaint Louverture. My teachers were Mrs. Regain for kinagardan and second grade. For fist grade I had Mrs. Williams. In third grade I was placed in advance and I had Mrs. Sher. She was very mean but I learn a lot in her class. She would quiz us on the multiplication table and if you got it right she would give you a candy. In the fourth grade I had Mrs.Singhacoon she was so beautiful. She looked just like the lady character Pocahontas. In the fifth grade I had Mrs. Jasmine. She made me a patrol monitor out of guilt because she said something about my mom and I cried. My mother died when I was five my grandmother was the one who raised me and five siblings. I was scared to graduate form elementory school. I always thought that they would beat my up because I just left elementary school.
I went to Edison senior I had a lot of teachers; I can only remember the good ones. Mrs. Cooks was my English teacher and first period teacher. She would give us radiors bucks for wearing uniform. Uniform was mandatory at the time, they would us that to get us to wear it. The radiars bucks were redeemable for goodies. In middle school we went to a lot of field trips such as the plays, the fair, museum of science and the art museums and many more places. I meet both my girl and guy best friend in the middle school. I went to my first dance in middle school. I also was in the African talent show. We would wear the African attire and perform on the stage in front of the whole school. I had good time in middle school. I always wish that they had a school where everybody that went to middle school would go but I new that would never happen. My father died when i got to high school. It was sad but I didn't cry i just was getting close to him. My grandmother kept me away from him when i was a litter younger, but I went and lookd for him when when i was in the sixth grade.
Southwest Miami senior high school is where I attended for high school. I was bus to this school for the magnet banking and financing. I would catch the school to over town metro rail station. Then ride the train to university station and the other school bus would wait for me there. Every month we were given bus passes to get to school and not have to pay. The same way we went to school was the same way we went home. Southwest was a school filled with white; Hispanics and a hand fill of black kids. I was the only black in most of my classes. The only class that had a lot of blacks was the magnet class. Every first and third Wednesday of the week would have to wear business attire and every second and fourth Wednesday we would have to wear the shirt for a grade. The girls would greet their friends but kissing each other on the cheeks and the guys would also kids the girls on the cheeks. I thought to my self no way, I already have to do that at home. My parents were from Haiti and that’s how you would greet an adult, that’s a way of showing manners. A few months later I was greeting just like them, talking different. people would ask me what school I attended all the time because of the way that I talked.
I got my first job at sixteen at Ross dress for less. I was hard but I had to help my grandmother after my brother went away for college. I started dating my guy best friend in high school. He then was to come to the same school as me. He was at our home school Miami Edison Senior High. We were together for about a year we broke up our junior year. The magnet us to take us on a lot of field trips. We went bush garden, wet and wild, island of adventure. We also took trips to colleges like Miami Dade, FIU, and nova. In the eleventh grade I became more active in a group called MAC steppers a multicultural awareness club. I would stay after school and practice the steps and the dances. Every month we would perform on stage with the other dance teams in our school. There were dances like hip hop, jazz, ballet and many more.
The twelve grade year I thought would be the best. There was senior picnic, the homecoming. We also had field day for juniors and seniors that didn’t have to take the F-Cat. They had different games team food and a lot more it was like a school carnival with all the good stuffs. My life then took a changed when I was arrested for giving double discounts to an employee several times. She was much older then me, she told me that she would buy me stuffs if I did it and I did. I thought my life was over. I was still going to school but not as much. I went to grad night, senior breakfast and prom. I then drop out and failed two classes because I was missing so much days. I felt that there was no prepuce to go to school. The always told me that once you get arrested that know one would hire you to work for them. I couldn’t get a job no where. I finally got a job at McDonalds as a cashier. I then realize that I now needed a great education since I had that against me. I went back to school at Miami central senior high and got my high school diploma. I went to D.A. Dorsey education center and got my patient care technician license. I now work at Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital as a patient care tech In the pediatrics unit. I love my job and I make good money. Why am I here? both my parent are deceased and there is know one that is going to be her to baby me. I am here to better myself. I am here because I got a second chance and I going to make the best of it. I want to make good money. I want to work on becoming a register nurse. I love working with kids and I also love Jackson the benefits the need of nurses. I am here because I want to make a difference in some one else’s live. My parent didn’t have the opportunity that I have today. I want to make my self proud and also my family. I am proud because i am here try to make it. I thought my life was over but now it's a new beginning.
